“An artistic touch in a functional space”

  • Enhancing the artwork and its material through lighting, while respecting its authenticity and volume.
  • Prioritize views from the entry and exit points.

Layered lighting design:

1. LOW-ANGLE LIGHTING

Grazing light from the ground that highlights the grainy texture of the corten steel as well as the sculpture’s slender form. Each facet is defined, distinguishing foregrounds and depths.

2. SOFTLY LIT BACKGROUND

Grazing, diffuse, and indirect lighting of the white vertical walls, coming from the ceiling, which makes the sculpture and its orange/brown hue stand out in the foreground.

Warm tones are used to enhance the warmth of the oxidized material and to contrast with the bright environment of the parking area.
