“A scenography enhanced by lighting”
The lighting project for the tunnel complements the graphic intervention on the vertical walls. The concept of this intervention is to highlight the graphic sequences placed here and there along the north and south axes of the tunnel.
The projectors are mounted on ceiling-mounted rails and adjusted according to the desired light output. Each light beam is directed towards the vertical wall in the direction of traffic flow to avoid dazzling drivers.
The lighting consists of two “layers”:
- The “background”: a cyan-toned background lighting is chosen to illuminate the graphics and bring out the artistic sequences.
- The “accents”: represented by blue and magenta spotlights. They accentuate the graphic elements to bring the drawings and the tunnel to life.
