The lighting project for the Design Station aims to create a dialogue with the surrounding public space by highlighting specific architectural features, organized around three main themes:
– Geometry and color: animating the upper façades by emphasizing the geometry and typology of the window openings;
– Transparency and structure: accentuating the internal structure of the lower levels;
– Identity and accessibility: providing additional lighting at the side entrance and drawing attention to the logo.
These three themes allow for a layered perception of the Design Station—both from a distance (such as from the Guillemins esplanade and the Meuse riverbanks) and up close, at the foot of the building.
