“Journey to a luminous nest”
The lighting project for the cellars of the «Les Davids» Estate concerns both the building itself (including certain interior rooms) and the surrounding areas. The idea is to design the landscape in a dreamlike way… The visitor is guided, like Little Thumb (Tom Thumb), from the outside by touches of light that lead them to the «luminou nest» that is the magnificent cellar building.
The luminous nest refers to the radiant character of «Baba Yaga» — the glowing house that shines from within.
The lighting interacts with the materials (concrete, wood, vegetation…) in warm (2700K) to very warm tones (2200K), while carefully minimizing the impact on biodiversity.
