“Lighting at the cutting edge”

The lighting project was developed in parallel with the planning of the Grognon Esplanade. The historic city center is rising from its ashes to offer residents a forward-looking living environment.

In dialogue with the Citadel and its defensive character, the lighting evolves with the inhabitants and breathes to their rhythm.

The esplanade’s lighting varies in intensity based on occupancy levels, and in tone according to the seasons—using cutting-edge technology. A soft and welcoming light keeps the space open and clear, while accommodating its multiple functions.

Integrated lighting elements graphically highlight the architecture and its organic contours, complementing the ambient lighting. Additional lighting features, some of which are colored, contribute to the space’s overall dynamic and reinforce its connection to the city.
