“Colored paths”

The project is part of Jette’s Lighting Plan. This railway underpass connects the station to the town’s main square. The aim is to create a playful and inviting passage between these two landmarks by transforming the underground space into a work of art.

The  play of colours is designed to psychologically shorten the space. In this project, colour is essential, it transforms the space and gives the graffiti another dimension. They even seem to be part of the work.

The alternating white and yellow-orange lighting gives the passageway a poetic rhythm and makes it attractive.

The technical solution, developed by Sibelga and LEC Lyon, addresses the risk of vandalism by using high-performance, durable equipment. Custom-made stainless steel enclosures protect 80 linear LEDs (40 in warm white and 40 in orange), along with all electrical and electronic components.
