“Progressive visions”
The illumination of the Collegiate Church of Huy and the Bethlehem Gate is one of the projects carried out under the town’s Lighting Plan (2015).
As the Collegiate Church «echoes» throughout the valley, its night-time lighting enhances distant views, highlighting the tall architectural elements with neutral white tones.
As one approaches, the lighting design connects with people, enriching their journey through the town with warmer tones.
A particular and playful emphasis is placed on Li Rondia, one of the «Four Wonders of Huy,» by simulating the projection of stained-glass reflections onto the ground at the church’s entrance square, bringing the space to life with shimmering, colorful light.
